A Sarasota company has been sold for a wopping $5.7 billion. This sale of Global Signal Incorporated, owner of communications towers is the largest ever business transaction in the region. The sale to the Houston, Texas based Crown Castle International Corporation combines the second and third largest businesses in the industry. While this transaction may result in some job losses in the Sarasota area we can hope that some of the $5.7 billion will be spent here. http://www.pinnacletowers.com
