One of the best places to invest in the Sarasota is the waterfront homes of Country Club Shores at the south end of Longboat Key. This location is very hard to beat for many reasons. It is close to St. Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota. There is a beach access not far away and these homes have boating access to Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico in about five minutes. The canals in Country Club shores are wide and deep and accommodate larger boats including sail boats. Prices range from $600,000 to $6,000,000. Many of the homes on the bay-front have been replaced by new large residences priced in the millions and the older homes along the canals which are available for under $1,000,000 are great candidates for improvement. Currently there are 52 homes for sale in Country Club Shores from $470,000 to $6,900,000. The average price is $1,850,095. There are four homes currently under contract in Country Club shores and the average price of homes sold recently is $,628,333. The highest priced sale in Country Club Shores this year is $5,975,000.
