L-3 in Sarasota

One of Sarasota’s larger high tech employers, L-3 which produces 70 percent of the world’s cockpit voice and flight data recorders (black boxes) and 80 percent of the world’s marine recorders, has renewed their lease for an additional 10 years. They plan to renovate and expand their current facility near the intersection of Fruitville and Cattlemen roads. L-3 which employs 250 people in Sarasota is a vital part of our local economy and we are glad to see that they have renewed their commitment to the Sarasota area.
