Pug Parade, Lakewood Ranch
February 4, 2009 by Perry Corneau · 5 Comments
The 12th annual Pug Parade will be February 21st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Greenbrook adventure park in eastern Lakewood Ranch. This event is fun for the entire family. All dogs are welcome but only pugs will participate in the parade and ensuing pug costume contest. If you are unable to attend, check back here after the event for pictures and video. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Humane Society of Sarasota County.

My wife and I would like to attend the pug walk (our little puggie died a few years ago and we are in the market for 2 fawn pups); we dearly love this breed and are looking forward to being dog owners once again. Where is this walk located and can non-dog owners attend? We are holidaying Canadians staying in the Venice area. Thank you.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your Pug. We have a wonderful Pug named Zoey. Anyone can attend the Pug Parade. It is great fun. There will be at least a hundred Pugs there. Many will be dressed in costumes. There will be a costume contest. You can click on the link in the original article to view a map of the Pug Parade’s location.
When is this year’s pug parade?!?! 2010!!!!
This year’s Pug Parade will be at 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lakewood Ranch Adventure Park in Greenbrook on February 20th, 2010. An entry form can be found at http://www.hssc.org/pugparage2010.pdf
I love this event. My little one was sick last year so we had to pass. I think this is a great event & they set it up very well. When I first attended it was sooo HOT!! But they accomidated all the fur kids with little pools everywhere & beleive me.. they enjoyed the fun & splashing
I cant wait to see all the puggers again this year… It’s like a family reunion. You will surely find something you just have to buy or if funds are short… You will have plenty of kisses from these adorable fur kids!
