Our company has been leasing many properties recently so I thought it would be food to include some information about renter insurance. Many renters don’t know that the landlords home owners insurance does not cover thier personal property. They might also be surprised to know that the average value of renters personal property is about $30,000. Renters insurance on averages costs about 85 cents per day and can cover the cost to replace personal property lost due to theft, fire, water damage or windstorm as well as rebursement for living expenses due to disaster.
